Hey there!

We’re just two people who’ve been together for what feels like a lifetime (but technically, it’s been 35 years—who’s counting?). We’ve worked our asses off, lived by our family motto GSD (Get Sh*t Done), built a business, lost a business, juggled jobs, went back to school, raised three kids, and somehow made it through all the joys and heartbreaks life threw our way. And guess what? We still like and love each other a lot!

For the longest time, retirement felt like some mythical land we’d never reach—until 2024, when Bob finally (reluctantly) made the leap. And let’s just say, graceful is not exactly the word we’d use to describe his transition. Meanwhile, I’ve got a few more years to go before I join him full-time, but one thing’s for sure: we are determined to make this the best chapter yet.

We hope our journey is helpful, honest, and maybe even a little entertaining. After a lifetime of GSD-ing for other people, it’s time to focus on what truly brings us joy, purpose, and adventure. So, let’s do this—Retirement - The Best Yet starts now!
